OBRA Philippines

Obra Philippines, a family-owned business in Marikina City, started during the pandemic,
believes in the spiritual principle of serving one another with the gifts received, as mentioned in
1 Peter 4:10. Founded by entrepreneur and former OFW to Doha Qatar, Ms. Carlyn Aquino,
Obra began with the launch of its first product, the Obra Lampara, in summer 2021. Blessed
with opportunities for promotion on shows like Swak na Swak and Magbudget Tayo, Obra sells
original Filipino-made fashion and handicrafts, using native materials sourced from various parts
of the Philippines, including palm trees, fiber, jute, bamboo, and waste items from local
communities.

Their lamps and lanterns are made from recycled bottles obtained from Marikina communities.
Obra's products are not only beautiful and inspiring but also eco-friendly, ideal for events like
baptisms, debuts, weddings, birthdays, and exhibits. They are unique, affordable, and eco-
friendly gifts suitable for any season.

As an emerging business, Obra believes in God's guidance and strives to make Him known
through generosity, evangelism, and community outreach. They conduct Bible studies and
crafting activities for children, sponsor event décor for small churches, and support local
community collectors by purchasing waste materials. Every purchase of Obra's products
contributes to promoting proudly Filipino-made items, reducing waste, supporting local farmers,
and reaching out to communities, all for the Glory of God.
