Gracious Food Products
The business began in Singapore (2013-2014) when a friend from Jhane's church community asked her to help prepare food for a birthday party. Jhane was responsible for the main courses, which included caldereta, Bicol express, spaghetti, pancit bihon, and fried chicken. This inspired her to create a page called “Kusina Ni Jhane.”
Back in the Philippines, Jhane settled in Antipolo City (2016) and continued her business online. Later, she moved to Bicol and opened an eatery specializing in quick orders like Batangas Lomi, Beef Pares, and Buffalo wings. She also offered takeout orders like pancit canton, pancit palabok, spaghetti, shanghai rolls, fresh lumpia, Buffalo wings, and salted egg chicken.
After two years, she expanded her product line to include chili garlic sauce, kimchi, and coco jam with pili nut bits. Jhane registered her business as Gracious Food Products with the DTI and BIR.
Shortly after registration, her first client requested catering for 100 pax. The DTI recognized her products, including her in food exhibits and trade fairs in malls and DTI events.
